Retirement in Veitnam

Dear Sir,
Are there retirement programs in Vietnam for over 60s.
I ma currently retired in the Philippines but it is becoming very expensive to be here.

There's not any official government retirement program for foreigners in Vietnam. So you would come to Vietnam like any other person, a backpacker, a tourist, an Overseas Vietnamese temporary visitor.

That means you could stay long term as a tourist who renews his visa every three months (up to three times before needing to leave the country). If you want to teach while retired, you could have your school sponsor you for a work visa in which case you wouldn't have to leave anymore.
